Day-by-day symptoms may occur in the IVF pregnancy treatment.  Especially after the embryo transfers, you will have some different symptoms will be there. 

It is one of the critical and final steps in IVF pregnancy. In there, you will have fertility medications.  After the successful completion of embryo transfers,  two weeks later you will get some symptoms.

This is due to hormonal surges and progesterone supplements. You need to be happy to get the symptoms that indicate the positive sign for the pregnancy to the hopeful couples. 

After Embryo Transfer Day By Day Symptoms, How Body Changes:

After embryo transfer, in the IVF pregnancy wait to get the symptoms till two weeks (14 days) to detect pregnancy,  Meantime don’t go for the pregnancy testing. You are almost in the fertility stage, you will enjoy this moment.  

 

Try to make your physical and mental stress-free.  Take more rest especially these 2 weeks before confirmation because this process must need your body’s cooperation.  Relax yourself, make feel comfort.

 

Relaxing activities such as Yoga, and meditation, engaging yourself in fun activities, and avoiding strenuous activities like heavy lifting any object or things in any situation. 

 

How your body changes after transferring the embryo day by day symptoms will be discussed below:

Day 1–3 (After embryo transfers)

From Day 1-day3 there will be mild symptoms only.  After embryo transfer, You might get mile cramping. Followed by you will have spotting and fatigue.

 

These days it implants itself in the uterine lining.  This is the early stage of your pregnancy, you will experience no symptoms also in this time. To specify this, you will blastocyst begin to hatch out of its shell.

 

Then you will get the day 1 process to continue and begin to attach itself to the uterus.  Then Implantation begins, and the blastocyst is deeply attached to the uterine lining.

Day 4 to 6 (After embryo transfers)

On day 4  the implantation will continue and it will completes.  Now placenta and fetus will start to develop. During this time embryo is implanted in the uterine lining.

 

The pelvic region might feel slight cramping, and bleeding discharge (pinkish or brownish color), breast tenderness.  You feel fatigued these days, this will happen just because of the hormone changes.

Day 7–9 (After embryo transfers)

After embryo transfers, the embryo is implanted into the uterine lining, and after 7 days placenta starts developing. 

 

The hormone changes and ovaries can cause lower back pain.  HCG hormones start produced in this stage.  HCG produces bloodstream.  You will get the symptoms of cramping, bleeding, bloating, nausea and dizziness.

Days 10 to 12 (After embryo transfers)

After 9 days HCG levels are high enough to detect pregnancy. Post embryo transfer,  your body will produce more hormones as your embryo starts to develop rapidly, which will be a positive result of pregnancy. 

 

You will have the following symptoms thirst, hunger, fatigue, and mild cramping these symptoms may be caused due to the hormone surge and mood swings are due to emotional and physical stages.

Day 13–14 (After embryo transfers)

Now you come to the end of the two-week wait, in this time embryo develops, and hormones surge in your body to support the pregnancy.  The symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and breast changes. 

 

Take a pregnancy test after 14 days but before you need to consult with your doctor to determine whether the test is necessary or not.  

 

The foremost thing is to take HCG results, is over 200 miU/ml should be there for your successful pregnancy.  When it crosses the level of 600 miU/ml will result in multiple pregnancies.

No Symptoms After Embryo Transfer: Is That Normal?:

Not for sure, since everybody is different, not all are the same.   So, you have no symptoms or zero after embryo transfer is completely fine.

There are people, who still have no symptoms after embryo treatment which results in a positive pregnancy. 

According to the research, nearly 10% to 15% of women will have no symptoms still they have an excess of progesterone and estrogen in their bodies.

It is very common to have no symptoms and mild symptoms.  But, you can consult your physician if you have zero symptoms during your pregnancy period.

  • Try to take more rest and relax yourself
  • Dont undergo any strenuous activities 
  • Dont uplift heavyweights
  • Stay healthy and keep your body hydrated.

  • Eat healthy foods like more proteins, vitamins, and iron.
  • Eat eggs, nuts, seeds, grains, green vegetables, fish, and fruits. 
  • Follow the diet under the guidance of your physician.

A day itself is critical to be more safe.  It’s around 24 hours you need to be cautious on that day followed by the first 2 days.
