This test is mostly preferred compared to ultrasound, it shows a clear picture of lymph nodes & their surrounding structure.  Helps to diagnose easily, and it can use X-rays to give completed and clear images of your abdomen.

  • Ultrasound:

It uses sound waves to create images of your abdomen. It also gives a clear picture of the size & location of lymph nodes.  And it also helps to differentiate the solid masses & fluid-filled cysts.

Lymph node biopsy:

It is required in some cases, by using a needle or surgery it helps to extract small tissue samples from the enlarged lymph node.  Using a microscope,  and putting a sample will determine the causes of the issue.
